Helping My Body Heal Cervical Dysplasia LSIL
Let down yet again by the limitations of conventional medicine…. For 3 yrs now I’ve had cervical screenings (pap smears) showing abnormal cells. HPV causing low grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (LSIL) also know as mild cervical dysplasia. While this thankfully is not cervical cancer, there is a chance it may go on to do so. At my latest appointment, I had a conversation with my specialist : Me : If most women naturally resolve this issue within 12mths, why would my body not do that over the past 3yrs? Specialist : Its down to your immune system not being able to clear the abnormal cells. Me : What factors would contribute to my immune system not doing that? Specialist : Usually smoking, drinking & stress. Me : Well I don’t smoke & I rarely drink.
